"Comfortable on the thorn bush"

NEST Conversations is a nomadic, occasional series of art events with a social focus founded and curated by Barbara Mulas.

It wants to become a new platform to stimulate creativity and dialogue among people. It aims to shape every time a temporary round table where to gather and converse, an occasion to both start new, and strengthen old, relations.

NEST Conversations: unnest #1, curated along with Cristina Aguirre, underpinned both Athens’ context (a series of major issues later defined “macro discomfort”) and the presence of the individuals (and his/her comfort-zone, contrarily defined as “micro discomfort”).
unnest #1 focus in Athens was around the dichotomy of macro and micro: the study of the macro, yet the recognition of the importance of the micro within it.
